Programme

DAY 13: CAMBRIDGE: ST. JACOBS MARKET

Enjoy a leisurely morning. We leave Cambridge and drive to St. Jacobs.

St. Jacobs is considered the capital of Mennonites. Arrival at the hotel in the afternoon.

Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 14: CAMBRIDGE – ALGONQUIN PROVINCIAL PARK

Today we drive to probably the most popular nature park in Canada! The Algonquin Provincial Park is the largest provincial park in Canada with almost 8000 square kilometers! The oldest provincial park in Canada consists of 2400 different lakes, 1200km of rivers and various types of forest! We spend two nights in a beautiful typical Canadian lodge- located in the nature park! We live in small chalets on an island – only accessible by boat. Bartlett Lodge is only accessible by boat! We enjoy a 5-course menu dinner in the cozy lodge!

DAY 15: DAY EXCURSION ALGONQUIN PROVINCIAL PARK

We spend the whole day in the beautiful park!  We drive to some viewpoints (waterfalls, beautiful forests and lakes) take short walks in Algonquin Provincial Park. We of course hope to see bears and moose!

DAY 16: ALGONQUIN PROVINCIAL PARK – TORONTO – RETURN FLIGHT

Tour Director - Guide

Thomas is Swiss and has lived in Canada and South Africa for more than 35 years. For many years he worked worldwide as a tour guide and resident manager for Swiss companies: Imholz Travel, Hotelplan, Baumeler and Imbach Wanderreisen. Thomas is looking forward to be the tour director for this tour. . He was the local guide for many hiking tours in the Algonquin Park and enjoys wildlife!
